WWE legend Kane is running for mayor. No this isn’t a drill, this is happening for real. This is the same man who interrupted the sanctity of Edge and Lita’s marriage. Yes, the very same man is now running for mayor of Knox County, Tennessee.
Of course he won’t be seen in his tights and mask, and we think it’d be a pleasant change to see him in well tailored suits as he campaigns for his mayorship. He’s said he’d like to work towards making Knox County a “world class workforce” which would help attract new businesses to his hometown.

Glenn Jacobs first rose to fame as Kane, the mute brother of the Undertaker back in 1995. The rest as we know is history. He has won a total of 23 championships during his career with the WWE (WWF World Heavyweight Championship, ECW Championsihp and WWE World Heavyweight Championship), is a 12-time world tag team champion, 2 time WWE Intercontinental Champion and holds the all-time record of eliminations at the Royal Rumble with 44 eliminations. Which other candidate could boast of all this? Glenn Jacobs for Knox County mayor 2018, hell yeah!

Jacobs went on camera to say the following : “As Knox County mayor, I promise to keep taxes low and make Knox County a place everyone can be proud of. I see my role as that of a facilitator among the different communities in our area. And also I think that Mayor Burchett has done a very good job with transparency in government and I would continue along those lines.“
