There’s A Healthy Way To Combat These 7 Common Cravings!

Let’s face it, everyone has cravings for their favorite foods, and unfortunately most of these are usually unhealthy. Not many of us are good at controlling these cravings (I mean look at that pizza, that cheese is calling out to me!) and end up cheating on our diets almost everyday.

What if we told you that there was a way to eat healthy and satisfy those cravings too? Read carefully.

Most of the times our body craves a particular food item because of a deficiency. Yes, cravings are unhealthy to begin with, and here’s a guide to carving a healthy road for yourself in this evil, tempting mess:

TOAST

Craving for some toast? Your body lacks nitrogen, and you’re most likely to get your dose from pulses.

CHEESE

Craving cheese? Your body lacks calcium, and it’s time to load up on those kale and flax seeds!

 PASTA

Craving pasta? Your body misses chromium, and it’s time to eat those eggs!

SUGARY FOODS

Craving sugar? This means your body lacks phosphorous and sulphur, and you need all those eggs and dairy products back in your diet. Also add some garlic ( a great source of sulphur)

FIZZY DRINKS

Craving soda? You need some calcium. Bring out those dairy products!

CAFFEINE

Craving caffeine? Your body needs iron and salt. It’s best to have a tomato juice at this point.

ALCOHOL

Craving alcohol? Your body needs Vitamin B2, which is found in yogurt.
