Norway is known for its stunning natural beauty. Ginormous fjords adorn the west side of the country. Unfortunately these bodies of water are creating serious problems for the locals. There are over a 1000 of them and navigation is a bloody maze.
Presently the locals use ferries to hop from one place to the other, which isnt really the ideal way to travel courtesy the unsafe weather conditions. So how do the Norwegians tackle the problem? Build a tunnel. But this is not just any tunnel.

The proposed £19.5 billion ($25 billion) infrastructure project would install permanent crossings using a submerged floating bridge – or ‘underwater tunnel’.
