Tweeter is another platform these days for raising irrelevant issues!
Okay! After reading this, you will definitely think Why? Why such issues are taking place that too just on a name of a dog.
It was on 20 jan’18 when Rebecca posted that her dog is missing.
She tweeted with two pictures: negro is missing please if anyone sees him message me!!!
To which she did not got a relevant message till date. Instead she started getting different sort of replies.
Luyanda D replied to her tweet saying, You definitely ain’t gonna find that dog now with a name like that…..
It is what it is and I said what I said…. It’s racist 🙂
Yes! the tweeter had these conversation 2 days back. Just because she kept the name as nigro to her dog, she was termed racist. And for clarification negro is Spanish word for black. And as you can see the dog has black fur.
Later this tweet, Luyanda started getting reverts which said:
In spanish negro means black. she named her dog after the dogs color. not after what afro Americans were called circa 1950s. its 2018 babygirl.
You and everyone who retweeted this shit are dumb af negro literally means the color black in Spanish and the dog is all black as seen in the pictures above for us Hispanics negro for us just a color I’m sorry that it’s a derogatory word for you get a mf grip pussies.
Lol first of all educate yourself before you look stupid on social media. “Negro” is Spanish for the color black in English. This has NOTHING to do with black people she’s simply naming her dog a color not a racial slur. Smh so quick to bring the race card
And one of the person defined it beautifully saying:
Its not pronounced knee-grow
In spanish its pronounced different
After all this mess, Rebecca tweeted after 10 hours stating; ‘I am so fed up with all of this’.
