Artist Thomas Dambo is a genius. He works with recycled materials and over the last 3 years has made 25 big sculptures around the world. All of them are made from recycled materials.
Recently though – he made a series that is every kid’s dream come true. A treasure hunt in his hometown Copenhagen featuring big wooden giants.
The sculptures are found in some of his favorite places around the city, places where people don’t go to often, because it’s off the beaten track. The sculptures can only be found by using a treasure map, or a poem engraved into a stone near each sculpture. These give hints on how to find the different giants.
All of the sculptures are made from recycled wood, pallets, fences – basically anything he could find. And they are so beautiful. Check them out.
