Mothers are special, Aren’t they? You can argue wit them end number of times, but if you see someone else doing the same, it hurts.
A case happened recently where a daughter saw her 78-year-old mum Sabina Marsden, being slapped, shouted at and having her blanket ripped from her laps. It was so hard for Gina to see all this through phone at her working desk. She lost her father few years back. Her sisters came to visit the lady in the evening but they needed someone to take care in the afternoon. So they called up a carer. But it was the worst experience for them.
It’s nothing more than a slap on the wrist, I can’t get my head around it?
If I had hit her that day I would have been a lot worse off than her. She should never have got off with a caution.
It really is an assault. I watched the attack live on my phone from work. I was furious. Seeing it was just horrible.
My mum is a wonderful person and deserves so much better than this. She’s been living through hell.
Her mother suffered from Dementia. For those who don’t know what it is, It is not a specific disease. It causes memory loss at the beginning stage. Everything was seen through a secret camera. She even filed an FIR for the same. She said her mother deserves respect like all mother does. To which a spokesperson from police said:
We can confirm we investigated reports of an assault in Kettering which took place on June 13, 2017.
After a thorough investigation and a review of all the evidence, a 46-year-old woman was issued with a police caution.
Safeguarding vulnerable people is a high priority for the force.
It’s disappointing when victims and their families are not completely satisfied with the outcome of an investigation and we would be happy to discuss this with them if they’d like to contact us.
Such cases are hard to believe. In the distressing footage, Sabina can be seen putting her hand under her blanket before Stacey slaps her several times. And when Stacy saw the footage, She said: I didn’t mean to upset you. I’m sorry.
